M.Ps, Secretary DoT, Member (S), Member (F) and all other concerned officers of DoT, and the details of the discussions held with these officers. He suggested to stick to the original demand of Pension Revision at par with 7th CPC recommendations only. In response to the suggestion of one of the participant to discuss /accept the 15% fitment on IDA instead of 7th CPC recommendations, GS AIRBSNLEWA opined that at no circumstances we should dilute / divert our demand of pension revision at par with 7th CPC.
It is a fact that CMD BSNL is playing vital role in keeping the Pay revision and Pension revision linked together for his vested interest. However, Secretary DoT and MoC is in favor of de-linking the Pension revision from the pay revision, as the payment method of both these payments are different in all respects. All the participant associations was of the opinion that 0% fitment is not acceptable to any of the association, and a letter to this effect duly signed by all the participant associations be submitted to the Secretary DoT with a request to form a committee and discuss the matter with all the stake holders and decide it within one month. Further course of actions will be decided depending upon the response of DoT to the said letter
