Meeting with GM

Meeting with GM (Pers) BSNL CO ND:- Comrade GS Prahlad Rai met GM Pers BSNL CO and discussed regarding true implementation of Rule-206 on SDEs seniority case as per the Hon’ble Supreme court Judgment and in view of recent Hon’ble Supreme court Judgment on MTNL case of Rule-206. GM Pers appreciated our concern and mentioned that due to extremely business in some other important issues he could not concentrate over this issue. However, he assured that shortly he will study the Hon’ble Supreme court Judgment and will act accordingly. He further assured an early action in this regards.

Meeting with Sr GM Esst BSNL CO ND:- Comrade Prahlad Rai GS AIRBSNLEWA met with Sr GM Esst BSNL CO and discussed regarding pension revision case wherein we Expressed our serious concern against the denial of payment of pension Contributions for revision of pension in the revised pension as informed by Member Services DoT in the meeting of BSNL/MTNL pensioners Associations held yesterday. Sr GM Esst mentioned that BSNL has never refused to DoT for the Payment of Pension Contributions on revised Pension of BSNL pensioners. He also mentioned that DoT has never asked BSNL to pay pension Contributions on revised pension. Thus it is not a correct statement of DoT. He clarified that as soon as DoT demands Payment of pension Contributions on revised pension, BSNL will immediately pay the demanded pension Contributions to DoT.
